Color Guesser
Privacy Policy
This policy describes what data Color Guesser ("the App") collects, why, and who it is shared with. It applies to general audiences and is written under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Contact: hello@kbaranowski.com (Krzysztof Baranowski, App Developer).
The App has no user accounts, no login, and does not ask for your name, email, or any contact details. Your game progress, scores and color collection are stored locally on your device (via Hive) and never leave it.
1. Data We Collect
| Category | Data | Collected via | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Usage / analytics data | App events (screens viewed, levels played, features used), app instance ID, device model, OS version, approximate location (country/region, derived from IP) | Firebase Analytics | Understand feature usage, improve the App |
| Diagnostic data | Crash logs, stack traces, device model, OS version, app version | Firebase Crashlytics | Detect and fix crashes/bugs |
| Performance data | App start time, network request duration, device model, OS version | Firebase Performance Monitoring | Measure and improve app speed and responsiveness |
| Advertising data | Advertising ID (Android AD_ID), ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) |
Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) | Show and measure in-app ads |
| Purchase data | Purchase history, anonymous app user ID, transaction data from the App/Play Store | RevenueCat (purchases_flutter) | Process in-app purchases/subscriptions, restore purchases |
| Locally stored data | Level progress, scores and records, Pixels/Gold Pixels balance, unlocked game modes and shop items, color collection, badges, daily streak, settings | Hive (on-device storage) | Save your progress offline — never transmitted to us or any third party |
We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise GPS location, photos/camera access, or microphone/audio.
2. Advertising & Tracking
- Ads are served through Google AdMob. Before showing personalized ads, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent where required (EEA/UK), and lets you review/change your choice at any time from in-app privacy settings.
- On iOS, the App does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt; as a result AdMob operates without access to the IDFA and cannot track you across other apps or websites for ad targeting.
- On Android, the App requests the
AD_IDpermission to serve and measure ads via Google Play services. - Interstitial ads are never shown right after a failed level; rewarded ads (extra Pixels, level continue, perks) are always opt-in.

4. Legal Basis & Your Rights (GDPR)
We process analytics and advertising data on the basis of your consent (collected via the UMP consent form where applicable) or our legitimate interest in operating and improving the App. You may, subject to applicable law, request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and object to or withdraw consent for processing, by contacting us at hello@kbaranowski.com.
